青岛大学新闻与传播学院现有新闻学系、广告学系、影视系3个教学系，拥有新闻学、广告学（广告学，广告设计）、广播电视编导、动画4个本科专业，拥有新闻传播学专业硕士学位授权点和广播电视专业硕士学位授权点。学院为各级各类传媒行业输送了一批专业人才，毕业生遍及海内外传媒业界及其他行业。目前，有全日制在校生690余名。

 

    学院拥有一支朝气蓬勃、团结和谐的管理与教学科研队伍。其中专任教师38人，教授5人，副教授11人，具有博士学位的教师19人。另外，学院聘请了部分业界专家担任业界导师。

 

    学院设有半岛舆情研究中心、会展传播研究中心、女性文化研究中心、青岛全民阅读研究中心、文化创意产业研究中心、影视产业研究中心、少儿传媒教育研究中心等研究机构，建有融合媒介实验室、广告摄影实验室，国际级文科实训教育中心数字媒体实验室。迄今共承担或参与国家社科基金（艺术学）项目3项，国家级规划教材项目2项，教育部人文社科规划项目2项，国家体育总局科研项目1项，省级社科规划项目4项，省厅以下科研立项10余项；获得省部级科研成果奖2项，省厅以下科研成果奖多项；出版专著、教材30余部，发表学术论文近200篇。

 

    目前，学院正在青岛大学的总体发展战略下，抢抓机遇，坚持走“强化内涵、彰显特色、发挥优势、提升质量”的发展之路，为建设优势明显、特色鲜明的高水平新闻与传播学院奠定坚实基础。

 

 

 

College of Journalism and Communication now consists of Department of Journalism, Department of Advertising and Department of TV & Film, offering B.A. programs in journalism, advertising (advertising, advertising design), animation, and radio and TV writing and directing. We also offer M.A. programs in journalism and communication and EMBA programs in visual design and communication. Through the years, we have cultivated talents and trained professionals for the media industry of all types and at all levels. Our graduates excel in media and many other industries throughout the world. And there are currently 690 full-time students exploring their intellectual and personal passions in our School.

 

We’re proud of our highly spirited and collaborative staff and faculty. There are 5 professors, 14 associate professors and 13 lecturers, with 14 faculty members holding a PhD. We are also honored to have a dozen adjunct or visiting professors serve as industry mentors.

 

Our School has many research centers, namely,  Nationwide Reading Research Center in Qingdao, Film and TV Industry Research Center, Shandong Peninsula Public Opinion Research Center,Exhibition Dissemination Research Center, Women Culture Research Center,  Cultural Creative Industry Research Center and Children's Media Education Research Center. We have established a media convergence lab, an advertising photography lab, and a digital media lab for the world-class Liberal Arts Education and Training Center. So far, we have undertaken or participated in 3 projects funded by National Social Science Fund (for Fine Arts), 2 textbook compiling projects funded by the national planning program, 2 social science and humanities planning projects funded by the Ministry of Education, one scientific research project funded by the State Sports General Administration, 4social science and humanities planning projects at provincial level, and a dozen scientific research projects at other levels. We have also been awarded with 2 Scientific Research Achievement Awards at provincial and ministerial level and several prizes at other levels. We have published more than 30 monographs and textbooks and practically 200 research papers.

 

And now we’re working under the overall development strategy of Qingdao University. We’ll seize this opportunity and adhere to the development model of "Strengthen Internal Management, Highlight Unique Features, Maintain Competitive Edges, and Enhance Academic Quality". Our objective is to lay a solid foundation for the growth of our School into a high-caliber School of Journalism and Communication with remarkable competitive edges and unique features.
