  中国海洋大学生命学院教授、博士生导师。
  山东遗传学会副理事长;中国海洋生物工程学会专业委员会副主任委员;中国贝类学会理事;中国水产学会海水养殖分会理事;国家基金委专家评审组成员;国家水产原良种审定委员会委员;农业部海洋渔业资源可持续利用重点开放实验室客座教授;上海水产大学兼职教授;比利时根特大学博士生国外导师。
  
  研究方向和兴趣领域:
  我们实验室聚焦在贝类遗传学和种质工程研究,重点开展扇贝的遗传学现象和机理、性状的分子标记和遗传调控网络解析等研究,并应用分子生物学、细胞遗传学和现代育种技术相结合等方法建立贝类的良种培育体系;同时我们也对贝类基因组学和进化生物学感兴趣,贝类奇异的基因组结构,丰富的遗传多样性和复杂的遗传现象让我们迷惑和兴奋。
  
  主要学术成就:
  主持和承担了国家重点和重大项目20余项。在扇贝的遗传育种理论和技术研究中取得重要突破,率先构建了扇贝的遗传连锁图谱,建立了贝类GISH分析技术和标准SSR位点种质鉴定技术,建立了我国扇贝的良种培育体系,应用分子标记技术和现代选育技术相结合培育出第一个高产抗逆的扇贝新品种“蓬莱红”,获得国家新品种证书,取得显著的社会经济效益,2005年获国家海洋局创新成果一等奖。
  在国内外著名科学刊物上发表论文100余篇(其中SCI、EI收录50余篇),主参编专著多部;成果获各级奖励20余项,其中国家科技进步二等奖1项,省部级一等奖4项、二等奖2项。自2002年以来,连续3届获青岛市技术拔尖人才称号,2003年获全国优秀水产科技工作者,2004年获青岛市优秀教师称号,2006年获国务院政府特殊津贴荣誉称号。
