主要研究方向:物理有机与金属有机化学。目前主要进行金属有机化合物的合成及其催化性能研究;手性配体的合成及其在不对称催化反应中的应用
宋毛平,教授、博士生导师,河南省跨世纪学术带头人、省管优秀专家,享受政府特殊津贴。现任《高等理科教育》编委,教育部化学教学指导分委员会副主任,河南省化学会副理事长。1981年郑州大学化学系毕业,1988年获硕士学位,1992年获南京大学理学博士学位,1995年晋升为教授,1996-1998年在美国堪萨斯大学化学系做博士后研究。
主持完成国家自然科学基金、河南省杰出人才创新基金和河南省自然科学基金等项目,目前主持国家自然科学基金和河南省自然科学基金项目各1项。
近五年来已指导20多名博士生和硕士生毕业,在Organometallics; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.; Adv. Syn. & Catal.; J. Org. Chem.; Tetrahedron; Synlett; Tetrahedron Lett.; J. Organomet. Chem.等国内外学术刊物上发表论文50余篇(其中SCI收录论文40余篇),出版著作3部,获发明专利3项。获国家级教学成果二等奖、河南省科学技术进步壹等奖等4项省级以上奖励。
