RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
< Ph.D in Hunan University (09/1995 to 11/1999):
· Theoretical calculation of the cohesive energies of fullerene and its compound crystals.
· Investigating the alkali-doping mechanics of C60 crystal.
· Investigating the motion of endohedral atoms in C60 cage.
< Postdoctoral fellow at Nanjing University (11/1999 to 06/2002):
· Theoretical calculation of the stable configurations of fullerenes and carbon nanotubes,
the intra-molecular heterojunction forming by two different chiral carbon tubes.
· Theoretical calculation of the doping effect of carbon nanotubes, the intra-molecular
heterojunction.
· Designed and computer simulation and modeling of nanostructure using the molecular
dynamics, annealing simulation and genetic arithmetic with tight-binding potential.
· Theoretical calculation of the optic properties of fullerenes and related materials.
· Investigated the strong correlation system using the Quantum Monte Carlo Methods
and the Density-Function Theory.
< Associate Professor in Nanjing Normal University (06/2002 to present):
· Theoretical calculation of the stable configurations of two terminal (or multi-terminal)
carbon nanotube heterojunctions.
· Theoretical calculation of the quantum conductance of multi-terminal carbon
nanotube heterojunctions.

四、研究方向:
研究工作目标:
从事理论凝聚态物理、材料物理、半导体物理及纳米科技领域中具挑战性的前沿问题研究。
目前从事低维凝聚态物理理论的研究和计算工作,以碳纳米管为主要研究材料,研究其热学、电学、磁学和光学性质。已发表学术文章二十余篇。
