从事关节外科的临床和基础研究。手术技术精湛，是华南地区屈指可数的可为患者实施微创直接前路人工全髋关节置换手术和保留后交叉韧带的膝关节表面置换手术的外科医生之一，关节置换手术量超过200台年。内外双修，擅长通过科研解决临床问题，并结合临床开展开展临床随访或基础科研，每年发表SCI论文2-5篇。
