二、培养目标 Educational Objectives
本专业培养基础扎实,知识面宽,能力强、素质高,具有一定的创新能力、较强的实践能力和良好的发展潜力的高级专门人才。学生毕业后能胜任现代火力发电厂、核电厂、燃气-蒸汽联合循环电厂及相关的能源与动力工程专业的技术与管理工作,并能从事其它能源动力领域的专门技术工作。
The mission of the specialty is to educate and cultivate graduates for advanced, professional careers in power engineering. After four-year cultivation, graduates majored in Energy and Power Engineering will have strong foundation, broad education, productive ability, high quality, innovatory idea, ability for practice and great potentiality for development. The graduates may find employment of technology and management in modern power plant and industries in concert with Energy and Power Engineering.
三、专业培养基本要求 Skills Profile
本专业学生主要学习动力工程及工程热物理的基础理论,学习各种能量转换及能量有效利用的理论和技术,接受现代动力工程师的基本训练,具有进行动力机械、热工设备的设计、运行和试验研究的基本能力。
毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力:
1.具有扎实的自然科学基础,良好的政治理论基础,较好的人文、艺术和社会科学基础;
2.较系统地掌握本专业领域宽广的技术理论基础知识,主要包括工程热力学、工程流体力学、传热学、工程制图、控制理论、电工与电子学等基础知识;
3.具有本专业领域所必须的专业知识,如:锅炉原理、汽轮机原理、热力发电厂等,了解专业前沿及发展趋势;
4.本专业的热能动力工程方向还应具备理论力学、材料力学、机械设计、金属材料等方面的基础知识;电厂集控运行方向还应具备工程力学、电路理论、电机学、单元机组协调控制、单元机组程控与保护等方面的基础知识;燃气轮机发电方向还应具备理论力学、材料力学、机械设计、燃气轮机控制与运行等方面的基础知识;
5.掌握一门外语,具有听、说、写、译的基础,能顺利阅读本专业外文书刊;
6.具有较强的自学能力、研究开发能力、创新意识、组织管理能力和较高的综合素质。
Students majored in EPE mainly study the fundamental theory in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermal Physics, theory and technology of energy transfer and effective use of energy, get the basic skills of power engineers, and acquire the elementary knowledge for designing, operating and experimental researching of the power machinery and thermal engineering equipment.
In the undergraduate period, students majored in EPE will acquire the following abilities:
1. Solid basic knowledge of natural science, good foundation knowledge of political theory, and knowledge of humanities, art and social science.
2. Systematic mastering of broad and fundamental knowledge of technology and theory in EPE including Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Control Theory.
3. Good grasp of professional knowledge in EPE, such as Principle of Steam Boiler, Principle of Steam Turbine, Thermal Power Station, etc and familiar with modern technology tendency knowledge in EPE.
4. There are three minors for the specialty of EPE. Besise the basic fundamental knowledge and professional knowledge of EPE, minor in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering (TEPE) will also acquire basic knowledge of Theoretical Mechanics, Theoretical Materials, Machine Design and Metallic Material; minor in Power Station Centralized Control Operation (PSCCO) will also acquire basic knowledge of Engineering Mechanics, Circuits Theory, Electrical Machinery, Coordinating Control of Thermal Power Unit and Program Control and Protection System of Thermal Power Unit; minor in Gas Turbine Power Generation (GTPG) will also acquire basic knowledge of Theoretical Mechanics, Theoretical Materials, Machine Design, Control and Operation Protection of Gas Turbine, etc.
5. Master a foreign language and have the abilities of listening, speaking, writing, translating, as well as reading foreign books and periodicals freely of EPE Specialty.
