本专业旨在培养能掌握系统的舞蹈与教育理论知识和扎实的舞蹈表演技能，具备良好的外语运用能力和信息技术运用能力，能直接参与国际舞蹈表演与文化交流的复合型高素质艺术人才。毕业生能够胜任政府机关、社会专业文艺团体、艺术院校、综合院校、企事业单位、群团组织等单位的舞蹈表演、教学及编创工作。
Dance Major (Performance and Education)
This major aims at turning out high-level artistic talents with a systematic understanding of the theories and skills in dance and education, excelled at using a foreign language and able to apply the information technology and qualified to participate in international dance performances and cultural exchanges. They are capable of working as dancers, teachers or choreographers for government organizations, troupes, art institutions, general institutions, enterprises or mass organizations.
