复旦大学生命科学学院生理学和生物物理学系的介绍正文
生理学和生物物理学系
生理学系和生物物理学系分别设立于1956年和设立于1958年，于1986年合并为生理学和生物物理学系，现任系主任为梅岩艾教授，有4名教授和5名副教授。
1999年生物物理学科被批准为国家教育部的“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授设岗学科。2002年起全系力量分别介入学校的神经生物学、生理学的重点学科建设，2007年生物物理学科被批准建设为上海市重点学科。
本系设有生物物理学、神经生物学2个博士/硕士招收专业，每年招收硕士和博士研究生10名左右。本系主要研究方向为：神经生物物理学，内分泌生理学，蛋白质结构与功能分析，计算生物学和理论生物学。
Department of Physiology and Biophysics
The Department of Physiology and Biophysics was founded in 1986 by combining two majors of the former Biology Department: Physiology and Biophysics, which were founded in 1956 and 1958, respectively. The department is currently headed by Professor Yan-ai Mei, and has 5 full professors and 5 associate professors. Since 2002, the department has contributed to the development of Neurobiology and Physiology sub-disciplines. Biophysics was chosen as a Shanghai key discipline in 2007. The Department of Physiology and Biophysics offers Ph.D. and Masters Degrees in Biophysics and Neurobiology. Four major research areas of the Department include Neurobiology, Endocrine Physiology, Protein Structure and Function Analysis, and Computational and Theoretical Biology.
